This establishment masterfully blends the rich flavors of the ocean with an elegant atmosphere, making it a favorite for both casual diners and special occasion guests.

As a premier seafood restaurant, Scott’s Seafood offers an impressive menu that showcases the freshest catches and culinary creativity. Sensory delights abound—from the vibrant, zesty Shrimp Cocktail Veracruz to the indulgent Lobster Ricotta, each dish is a celebration of the sea’s bounty. One cannot overlook the exquisite Almond Crusted Seabass, boasting a delicate crunch that perfectly complements the tender fish beneath, or the deeply satisfying Surf and Turf, a harmonious pairing of filet mignon and succulent seafood. For those craving a communal and festive vibe, the Seafood Paella is a colorful, aromatic standout, bursting with saffron-infused rice and a treasure trove of shellfish that tempts the palate with every bite.

The menu’s breadth extends beyond seafood, reflecting an adeptness at balancing rich, traditional flavors with modern riffs. Pasta dishes like Pesto Rigatoni with Salmon and Shrimp Scampi Linguini deliver comfort and elegance, while the Vegan Mushroom Risotto offers a creamy, earth-forward option that caters to diverse dietary preferences. Scott’s dessert selections are equally compelling—imagine savoring a warm, molten chocolate cake or the silky, smooth Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee, perfect finishes after a memorable meal.

Scott’s reputation is also bolstered by an inviting dining atmosphere that patrons frequently praise. The interior exudes a sophisticated charm, while outdoor patio seating offers an airy, relaxed alternative—perfect for those who enjoy people-watching under the Californian sky. Attention to detail in décor and ambiance complement the culinary experience, while the restaurant’s well-curated wine list elevates every meal.

Its elegant banquet hall and wedding venue capabilities make it an exceptional choice for celebrations and corporate events. Customers share glowing experiences of attentive, personalized service and exquisite cuisine that turns occasions into unforgettable memories.

One guest was “blown away by every dish,” highlighting the impeccable quality of appetizers and a Cioppino dish that was “beyond amazing.” Another reviewer, having visited twice in one week, praised the perfect cooking and flavorful sauces, particularly on the Surf and Turf and Seafood Sauté—each bite leaving a lasting impression. I was blown away by every dish. The crew ordered every appetizer and they were all 10/10. My main dish (Cioppino) was beyond amazing. Definitely would like to come back for another session

Im surprised at how unimpressed we were at Scott's new location. We made a reservation for dinner after our San Jose Broadway show (thinking the restaurant was still located close to the theatre). Our family of 8 drove in separate cars, quite a way through blocked off streets and then scrambled for parking (one of us paid a $30 flat fee fir parking). By the time we walked from the parking lot to the restaurant, we were already bummed. So, the service was okay (waiter was a bit cold). The food was decent-presentation was lackluster. The ambiance was boring (we were stuck in a back room that didn't feel exciting or special). And youbwill absolutely get gouged on your bill. For the kind of money you will pay (they want $5 per prawn to have that as your protein on a salad!!), it's not really worth the trouble. There are much better restaurants in the Bay Area for less money, better service & no parking fees.

The place was empty on a Friday night, maybe because they don't validate parking in "downtown"? The paella was delicious and can totally taste saffron. The halibut was nice too. We had much better lobster bisque, and creamier.

2nd night at Scott’s this week. Perfect service and the food was delicious. Last visit i had Surf and turf and wife had Seafood sauté. The fish was perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful Every bite had me thinking this is so tasty. Both trips we shared a bowl of their famous clam Chowder. Amazingly rich with clams and bacon. Deserts are a must.

After several recommendations, I finally made my way to Scott’s Seafood in San Jose—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, everything about the experience was exceptional. The ambiance was spot on, beautifully decorated with an inviting atmosphere. For those who enjoy dining outside, the outdoor patio seating adds a lovely touch. Service was equally impressive. Hugo, my waiter, was attentive and knowledgeable, suggesting the almond-crusted New Zealand seabass—a choice that did not disappoint. To start, I had a cup of their Boston clam chowder, and let me say, it was one of the best I’ve had from coast to coast. Rich, flavorful, and comforting. I also decided to try their watermelon mojito mocktail, which was refreshing and delicious. Scott’s Seafood has truly earned a spot on my list of favorites, and I will definitely be returning! Highly recommended for seafood lovers and anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in San Jose.

Outstanding and friendly service. Perfect amount of attention and not overbearing, but attetentive. The food was great, oysters were plump and really fresh! Cioppino was good, but different. The broth was not as tomatey as I'm used to...more subtle...the Seafood was great except for the white fish, it was a little to dry for me for such a stew. I will definitely go back and try the paella

We went to Scott’s Seafood to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked, and the sea bass was absolutely delicious. The wine pairing complemented the dishes beautifully, adding an extra touch to the meal. To finish, we enjoyed the crème brûlée, which was the perfect sweet ending. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch, making it a memorable celebration. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing seafood and a great dining experience!”
